Last updated: June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Scott Automations collects, uses and protects information in relation to INKY.

Who we are

INKY is operated by Scott Automations, a UK-based sole trader.

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, you can contact us at:
[email protected]

What INKY does

INKY is designed to help tattoo artists manage initial client enquiries through Instagram and related messaging channels. It helps gather useful enquiry details so artists can review them and decide how they wish to respond.

INKY is not designed to replace the artist, make booking decisions, provide final quotes, or handle payments.

Information INKY may collect

Depending on how an enquiry is handled, INKY may collect and process:

  • Name
  • Instagram handle
  • Email address, if provided
  • Phone number, if provided
  • Tattoo idea and description
  • Reference images
  • Placement information
  • Placement photos, if provided voluntarily
  • Preferred timeframe
  • Conversation history relating to the enquiry
  • Enquiry summaries generated from the conversation

Information INKY is not designed to collect

INKY is not intended to collect or process:

  • Bank account details
  • Payment card information
  • Government identification documents
  • Other sensitive financial information

Artists and clients should not share bank details, card details or other sensitive financial information through INKY. Payments and deposits should be handled using the artist's usual trusted payment methods.

How information is used

Information collected through INKY is used to:

  • Respond to initial tattoo enquiries
  • Gather the details an artist needs to review an enquiry
  • Create enquiry summaries for the artist
  • Help artists manage new enquiries more efficiently
  • Provide onboarding, support, maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Improve INKY based on real-world use and artist feedback

Artist control

Artists remain in control of their inbox, client conversations and booking decisions. INKY is intended to support the initial enquiry stage only.

Data is retained until deleted by the artist, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Administrative access

INKY is built on a managed platform. Scott Automations may have administrative access to client accounts for the purposes of setup, onboarding, technical support, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Scott Automations does not actively monitor client conversations as part of the service. Any access is intended only to support the operation and improvement of INKY.

Third-party providers

INKY uses third-party service providers to operate the service, including:

  • GoHighLevel, for CRM, automation and messaging infrastructure
  • Meta, for Instagram-related integrations
  • OpenAI, for AI-assisted responses and enquiry summaries

These providers may process information where necessary to deliver the INKY service.

The Scott Automations website may use standard cookies provided by the website platform. A cookie notice may appear when you first visit the site.
