1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Scott Automations' services and website (scottautomations.co.uk). By using our services or completing our onboarding form, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

2. Our Services

Scott Automations provides AI receptionist services delivered via WhatsApp. Our service is designed to handle inbound enquiries, qualify leads, collect customer information, and send notifications to business owners on their behalf.

The specific features and configuration of your service will be agreed during the onboarding process.

3. Subscriptions and Payment

Our services are provided on a monthly subscription basis. Subscription fees are as set out on our pricing page at scottautomations.co.uk/pricing.

Payment is due in advance at the start of each billing period
Invoices will be issued via QuickBooks Online to the email address provided during onboarding
We reserve the right to suspend services if payment is not received within 14 days of the invoice date
Prices may be subject to change with 30 days' written notice

4. Setup and Onboarding

Once your onboarding form has been submitted and your first payment received, we will begin building your AI receptionist. Build times are typically within 5 working days, though this may vary depending on complexity.

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during onboarding. Scott Automations is not liable for issues arising from incorrect information provided by the client.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at hello@scottautomations.co.uk.

Cancellations must be submitted at least 7 days before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the following month
No refunds are provided for partial months already paid
Upon cancellation, your AI receptionist will be deactivated at the end of the current billing period

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use our services only for lawful business purposes. You must not use Scott Automations' services to:

Engage in any fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading activity
Harass, abuse, or harm any individual
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Collect data from individuals without appropriate consent under UK GDPR

Scott Automations reserves the right to terminate services immediately and without refund if these terms are breached.

7. Intellectual Property

All AI receptionist configurations, prompts, workflows, and automations built by Scott Automations remain the intellectual property of Scott Automations. Clients are granted a non-exclusive licence to use these during the period of their subscription.

Upon cancellation, this licence ends and Scott Automations' underlying systems and configurations may not be copied, replicated, or shared.

8. Limitation of Liability

Scott Automations provides its services on a best-efforts basis. We do not guarantee that the AI receptionist will capture every lead or that all enquiries will be handled without error.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scott Automations shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of our services, including but not limited to lost revenue, lost contracts, or missed business opportunities.

Our total liability to you in connection with these terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Third-Party Services

Our services rely on third-party platforms including WhatsApp Business API, Make.com, and Anthropic's Claude API. Scott Automations is not responsible for any disruption, outage, or change in these platforms that affects service delivery.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
